Community and mental health services for Southampton, Portsmouth and parts of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Shine magazine

We’ve given our Shine magazine a bit of a revamp here at Solent. This new look issue has a focus on how our physical and mental wellbeing can be improved by being kind to ourselves and others, especially in these uncertain times. We hear from our inspirational nurses from across the Solent region, who tell us about their journeys into nursing, as part of the celebration of the Year of the Nurse and Midwife. Our partners at Solent MIND share gardening tips and recipes to boost your mood. We learn about the amazing ‘Breathe into Song’ choirs for people with Parkinson’s and Chronic Obtrusive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and hear the moving story of Dr Joe, who shares his LGBTQ+ story. So, the only thing left to do is to get yourself comfortable with a cuppa and enjoy!
