You’re invited – Join Solent NHS Trust’s Annual General Meeting 2023

Solent NHS Trust’s 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in person and available to watch live online on Monday 11 September from 3pm to 5pm, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Andrew Strevens, Chief Executive of Solent NHS Trust, said: “We are really pleased to be once again holding a hybrid AGM – giving people across our communities the chance to either attend in person or watch the livestream.

“During the AGM, people will be able to discover more about the work of the Trust, as well as our challenges and achievements, in the 2022/23 year.

“The year ahead promises to be one of transformative change, not just in Solent but across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with health and care teams working in the most collaborative ways for the benefit of service users and one another.

“We will have a live Q&A session and we would welcome people submitting questions ahead of the day or during the event itself.”

People can attend the event at the Mountbatten Centre at Alexandra Park in Portsmouth or join the event from anywhere, on any device - PC, smartphone or tablet - using a Chrome or Edge browser.

In addition, we will have colleagues from different areas of the Trust such as Solent’s Academy of Research and Development and our volunteering and community engagement teams running in-person information stands ahead of the event from 2.15-2.45pm. They will be on hand to chat about how local residents get can involved with, and support, the Trust’s work.

AGM attendees need to pre-register their place, via this Eventbrite link. For those viewing the AGM online, a web link will be shared prior to the event by email. It is recommended that people watching virtually use a Chrome web browser.

The AGM agenda and full papers will be available online in due course.
