Snowdon Neurological Rehabilitation Ward

Snowdon is a 14 bedded purpose built ward which specialises in the treatment of people with physical and cognitive limitations following a recent neurological event or a long term neurological condition.

Referral criteria

Registered with a Southampton or West Hants CCG GP or on a cost per case basis outside of these CCG GP's.

Exclusion criteria:

Have an old neurological condition and the primary rehabilitation need is not neurological in nature.

Require longer term slow stream rehabilitation.

Require high levels of visibility or be supervised on a one to one basis for their safety.

Special Notice
We provide a rehabilitation environment 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Therapy is available over 6 days a week between 8am and 4pm.
