Chronic Fatigue (MSK)
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also referred to as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is a long-term illness with a wide range of symptoms. The most common symptom is extreme tiredness. There isn't a specific test for CFS/ME, so it's diagnosed based on your symptoms and by ruling out other conditions that could be causing your symptoms.
We provide assessment and treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) for patients aged 16 and over, who are registered with a Portsmouth City GP. Our team is made up of an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist and a psychologist, who are specialists in working with CFS/ME.
