During the current COVID-19 climate, the MSK service is currently offering either a telephone or face to face initial consultation based on clinical need. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the service, there may be a longer wait than usual for your initial consultation. Following your referral, you will be contacted via text or letter when we are able to offer you an appointment.

How has the Coronavirus outbreak affected my appointment? The MSK service is now undertaking telephone consultations with all patients and is only seeing patients face to face if there is an identified clinical need.
I am on your waiting list. How do I find out how long I have to wait? We are managing patients in order of priority. If you have any concerns regarding your waiting time please contact the relevant service on the numbers listed below.

- Face to face appointments must be attended alone if possible.
- Please wait until your appointment to enter the department
- A face covering must be worn at all time while in the department
- Staff will be wearing all appropriate PPE during your face to face appointment
