Specialist MSK

Southampton and Portsmouth

To be seen by the Specialist MSK team, a referral needs to be made to the Physiotherapy service. Patients registered with a Southampton or Portsmouth GP surgery are able to self-refer into the service. Find the Online self-referral form here.

Your GP is also able to complete this referral for you.

Once your referral has been received by the Physiotherapy service, it will be triaged by a senior member of staff. At this point, you will be offered an appointment with the Specialist MSK team if appropriate. Our Physiotherapists work closely with our Specialist MSK team so can organise a referral to see them if needed.

Fareham, Gosport and South East Hampshire

Please view the list of GP practices for Fareham/Gosport and for South East Hampshire. If you are registered with one of these GP practices, your GP will need to make a referral into Physiotherapy to access the Specialist MSK team
