Mike Watts

Acting Chair

Mike grew up and went to school in Southampton. He is a Hampshire resident and has an extensive and wide ranging track record in organisational design and development that has driven business performance.

Mike is currently the lead consultant with Capability and Performance Improvement Ltd of which he is a co-owner. He has previously held senior HR roles at Southampton City Council, and the Chartered Institute of Professional Development; Cabinet Office; Lloyds TSB and Scottish Widows. During his time in the Cabinet Office, Mike was recognised by HR Magazine as one of top 30 influencers of HR practice. He has also held a previous Non-executive Director role with the Scottish Executive. Mike was appointed in October 2016.
