- GPs
- acute paediatricians
- health visitors
- school nurses
- other allied health professionals

Full service description
The service is divided into four main areas:
- Community General Paediatrics Medical service which provides assessment, investigation, diagnosis and treatment of children and young people with general medical conditions. Within Southampton City only, the service is delivered alongside UHS in community venues and is accessed via the Single Point of Access for General Paediatrics.
- Community Paediatric Medical Neuro-developmental services and paediatric services for children with physical disability, complex health needs and learning disability which are provided for children with or suspected to have developmental problems/ special educational needs, and include a range of preschool and school aged child health community clinics as well as clinics in special schools and alongside specialist multidisciplinary teams. This includes specialist clinics for children with feeding and nutritional difficulties.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection Medical service for physical examination and assessment of child abuse and neglect, including video-colposcopy facilities for child sexual abuse examinations. This includes physical examination to confirm female genital mutilation (FGM).
- Health Services for Looked After Children
