Freestyle Libre 2

The Freestyle Libre is a flash glucose monitoring system that measures glucose levels continuously. The sensor is placed on the upper arm, and measures the interstitial fluid under the skin. To get a blood glucose measurement, you must scan the sensor with either a reader or your smartphone.

Your Freestyle Libre profile with show the day-to-day patterns in blood glucose levels, and will indicate if your levels are going up, down or are stable. Now, with the Freestyle Libre 2, you can set optional alarms to alert you if your blood glucose levels are too high or too low. Each sensor lasts for 14 days.
