We believe that great care starts with great people. Our employees make a huge difference to the lives of the people we serve. We have a wide range of career opportunites, from apprenticeships in nursing or finance, to highly skilled medical roles.

Throughout our service groups, which include primary care, mental health, sexual health, dentistry and community nursing, we make a difference to local people through our purpose, to keep adults and children safe, and well in, or close to, their own homes.

We offer both permanent and bank (temporary) positions.

Take a look at these pages to find out why we think you should join us and what we can offer you.

Bank roles

Our Bank Service offers temporary roles in both clinical and non-clinical settings. Our Bank staff tell us they one of the most important benefits is being able to choose where and when they work. Joining the service gives you the flexibility to choose how and when you want to work and fits around you.

"Joining Solents' Bank, as a Healthcare Assistant, has given me the flexibility I was looking for with a young family to juggle whilst keeping my skills current."

"I have enjoyed a long career in the NHS, and felt it was time to slow down and have a bit more me-time. Solent's Bank gave me the opportunity to have a better work-"life balance."

We offer a range of temporary positions including:

  • Ward nurses
  • Health care assistants for all clinical areas
  • Community nurses
  • Mental Health Nurses
  • Older Persons Nurses
  • Corporate/admin services
  • Skilled project managers
