Patient Public Involvement (PPI)

Solent NHS are committed to involving our patients in research projects from the first ideas/design to the end result, and getting the message out to other patients.

What we mean by research?

Research is an investigation or study.

Public involvement in research is what happens when members of the public get actively involved in research, such as helping to decide what is researched, how the research should be carried out, and what should be done afterwards.
