Our philosophy is to help overcome mental health stigma, to raise awareness about mental health, and to improve accessibility to our service. We are pleased to provide numerous workshops throughout the year to the local community! These workshops are provided free and have been delivered to the general public, businesses, organisations, educational establishments, and to staff of Solent NHS Trust.
Traditionally, we have provided workshops to introduce the services we offer and to raise awareness about mental health. We have also provided workshops for specific subjects (e.g., 'introducing mindfulness', 'stress management in the workplace', 'developing self-compassion', 'creating a balanced life') and certain groups (e.g., older adults, black and ethnic minorities).
We are pleased to announce our latest workshop:
The workshop would ideally suit someone with an interest in learning about mindfulness or wishing to develop their existing practice. The workshop is led by psychotherapists Clive Everist and Miles Wrightman who have extensive experience practicing and teaching mindfulness.
The workshop takes place at St James' Hospital within the 'Goddard Centre' on Tuesday 28th November, 2–4pm. We are looking forward to seeing you! Please register here as spaces are limited.
