Linvoy Primus visits the Baytrees

Patients from Baytress at St James’ Hospital were offered the opportunity to meet Linvoy Primus, ex Portsmouth Football Club player, last Friday.

Linvoy visited the Unit as part of his role in ‘Faith and Football’ – a Christian charity currently working in Portsmouth, Birmingham and Plymouth alongside professional footballers such as Linvoy Primus.

  • Baytrees is a 23 bedded Treatment Unit in the grounds of St James’ Hospital.

Patients are referred from all over Hampshire and Portsmouth to gain help with alcohol and drug dependency.

It was opened in June 2006 and offers specialist detoxification and therapeutic treatment including: Relapse/Overdose prevention/Reflexology/Aromatherapy amongst others.
